Club hosts 2nd Sambalilo Pro-Am Golf Cup
The country’s high-level golf professionals showcased their talents during the 2nd Sambalilo Pro-Am Golf Cup that was held at the flawless yet challenging fields of Caliraya Springs Golf Club in Cavinti, Laguna last Aug. 5-6.
The two-day event returned to one of the Philippines’ premier golf destinations, where the courses challenged the golfers’ shot-making ability and decision-making skills. The players had the chance to traverse Caliraya Springs’ fairways, an exquisitely designed field with a combination of tricky components and bunkers that add stunning beauty.
In addition, the Caliraya Lake waterscapes are an excellent addition to the place’s tranquility as they promote a clear visual mind and composure in the golfers. The combination of amateur and professional golfers showcases that, just like the ecosystem surrounding Caliraya Springs, it needs coordination and collaboration to thrive in a competitive environment.
The competition reminded everyone of the intertwining relationship of sports and nature since it once again broke boundaries with the teams of professional and amateur golfers, and demonstrated how nature itself and its sceneries can be a factor in having a successful swing and tournament.
